PUBLIC NOTICES


CONTAINER OPEN FOR THE SEASON

The roll-off container for large refuse is open every Saturday from 8 am to 12 noon. It is not permitted to dump tires and propane canisters there. There is a separate deposit for paints and batteries.

Here is the summer 2010 pickup schedule for garbage. Garbage will be picked up every week during the summer.

Monday June 28: regular garbage pickup

RENO-VILLAGE

Owner-occupants of a house in Ristigouche South East may qualify for a programme to assis with renovation expenses. Contact the municipality to find out more.


NEW SPEED LIMIT
The municipal council will soon reduce the speed limit to 50 km/h on Kempt Road between the intersection with Highway 132 and civic number 100. Watch for the new signage.

TEMPORARY AUTO SHELTERS
According to section 6.2.5.1 paragraph 1 of the municipality's municipal plan, temporary automobile shelters must be removed no later than May 15th. Residents who do not remove them could be fined under Quebec's municipal code.

SEPTIC TANK
Does you septic tank need to be emptied? The department of Environment recommends emptying your tank once every two or three years depending on the number of occupants.
